Improving on Microsoft SBS Server
At AGIX we recognise the limitations of Microsoft Small Businesses Server (SBS) particularly in regards to security. For example, MS-SBS comes with Outlook Web Access (a website built into the server that gives staff access to their calendars, contacts and emails while they area out of the office or not using Microsoft Outlook in the traditional sense. Making such a resource available to the internet is a risk. In fact, it’s a huge risk unless there is a firewall or server providing security in between the SBS server and the internet.
The AGIX Flow Web Appliance Server is designed to provide a security layer between Microsoft Small Business Server (or any server for that matter) and the internet. It’s about safety and preventing company data from going missing or begin changed by a malicious internet user.
